Nobody likes a dirty dog and certainly not a dirty mascot, so I have to keep it pretty fresh in my line of work. Thankfully, I have the fine folks at Good Dog Hotel and Spa in Broad Ripple to help with that!
Before the days of my partnership with Good Dog Hotel and Spa, bath time was a laboring process that involved the family bathtub, lots of towels and eventually led to a wet dog (me) running around the house only to leave behind a wet and messy bathroom. It worked, but it wasn’t really much fun for anyone.
Then came along Good Dog Hotel and Spa and those days became just a forgotten memory. It was the week leading up to the 2010 NCAA Men’s Basketball Final Four and I was preparing to make my big appearance along with the Butler University Bulldogs. Good Dog Hotel & Spa called to offer a full grooming session prior to my big moment at Lucas Oil Stadium and a great partnership was born.
Ever since, I’ve had the luxury of coming to use Good Dog’s self-wash whenever I need it and these days bath time is actually fun!
After a quick car ride (which I love) over to Good Dog Hotel & Spa, I can’t wait to get inside where I’m loaded into the industrial size tub and washed down with the heavy-duty sprayer. Following a quick scrub and rinse I’m being dried by their clean towels and hair dryer. And a couple of minutes later, I’m one clean mascot walking out the door; ready to hit the Monon Trail just outside or back to campus for work. It’s convenient, easy and the mess is on them!
All dogs should be so lucky to visit Good Dog Hotel and Spa for a self-wash or even their great grooming services. After all, clean dog is a happy dog! Tell ‘em Blue II sent ya!
Go Dawgs!
