We’re now looking for an enthusiastic and friendly Customer Service Representative who enjoys connecting with people, has a passion for pups, and thrives in a lively, team-oriented environment.

What You’ll Do

As a Customer Service Representative at Good Dog Hotel & Spa, you’ll play a key role in delivering outstanding service to both our clients and their pets. Reporting to the General Manager and Guest Services Manager, you’ll use your communication skills, phone etiquette, and attention to detail to assist dog owners, handle inquiries, and ensure every guest has the best possible experience. This is a fast-paced, people-focused role that requires multitasking, organization, and a genuine love for dogs.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide exceptional customer service in person, over the phone, and by email
• Answer multi-line phones and assist clients with reservations, check-ins, and general inquiries
• Use Paw Partner (boarding/grooming software) to accurately record information
• Maintain detailed records and follow through on assigned tasks
• Support office operations including scheduling, filing, and communication
• Assist with the care of dogs when needed—must be comfortable handling dogs up to 150 lbs
• Educate dog owners about our services and recommend options that best fit their pets’ needs
• Work closely with our team to ensure every customer enjoys a 5-star Good Dog experience

Requirements

• Outgoing & friendly personality with a professional demeanor
• Reliable transportation and punctuality
• Ability to work early mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends
• Strong multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail
• At least 1 year of customer service experience (required)
• Comfortable working on your feet for 6+ hours and lifting up to 45 lbs
• Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Office + ability to learn new software)
• Clear, professional communication skills—both written and verbal

Position Details:

• Part-time: 20–24 hours per week
• Shifts vary between mornings, evenings, and weekends (availability for all is required)
• Fast-paced, hands-on roles with plenty of time spent around dogs of all sizes

What We’re Looking For:

• Dependable and team-oriented
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Detail-oriented and eager to learn quickly
• Interested in long-term employment
• Previous employment of at least 12 consecutive months required
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs (Hotel) or working with dogs up to 200 lbs (Daycare)
  Hotel Associate Responsibilities
• Lift and handle dogs up to 50 lbs
• Record food intake and eliminations
• Clean rooms, kitchens, and elimination areas (mopping, general upkeep)
• Bathe and walk dogs
• Administer medications as needed

Daycare Associate Responsibilities

• Learn and interpret dog body language
• Work with dogs of all sizes (up to 200 lbs)
• Write daily activity and behavior reports
• Stand and walk for up to 8 hours per day
• Maintain a clean, safe daycare environment
• Communicate effectively across all departments
