As we cruise into November and get ready for winter and the upcoming holidays, Good Dog Hotel & Spa wanted to look back on the events of October.  We had our Annual Halloween Contest and all of our contestants put their best paw forward!!  Ginger & Portia, two sister-Labrador mixes, entered as a “pumpkin and a devil”!!  These ladies are recurring contestants and we love them very much!!  

Lous Vuitton, a Coton de Tulear, entered as a “Colts-fan”, we really enjoyed his Football-spirit!! Diesel is a mix of all kinds of cool dogs (or a mutt as you would call it) and he entered as “Elvis Presley”!!  We loved having Elvis with us for the day and enjoyed listening to Diesel’s version of Elvis-tunes 🙂

Sophie a Teacup Poodle entered as a “Pumpkin”!!  As you can see in the picture, Sophie is extremely cute.  She was one of our winners and won the price for “Cutest Costume”!  

Laina, our beautiful Siberian Husky won “Most Original Costume”.  She was dressed up as “Spaghetti & Meatballs”, she just looked delicious and very funny.  

Our last contestant was Rocky.  Rocky is a five month old Rottweiler puppy and she dressed up as “Princess Leia”.  She was winner of our “Staff Favorite Costume”.  She just melted our hearts with her costume, and it looked like she didn’t even mind wearing it!! 🙂

Our prizes for our contest winners were a two-day hotel stay at our luxurious hotel, accompanied by two sessions of daycare or one-on-ones and two room-services.  We spent the entire week after Halloween voting for our winners.  All of our staff-members looked at the pictures and took their time voting.  We had a very hard time picking our winners because our contestants were so cute and really put time and effort in their costumes.  We really enjoyed this years contestants and we look forward to doing this again next year!!
