Meet Butch!

Meet Butch!!

Hi!
My name is Butch Noone! The first thing you need to know is I am one tough Boston Terrier! I am only three years old and have been through a lot. When I was little I got hit by a car and broke my leg. My mom, dad and doctor tried to save my leg – I had a bright green cast for almost a year! Unfortunately my leg had to be removed but I have just as much energy now as I did with four legs!

I come to play in the daycare at Good Dog Hotel and Spa with my sister Annie. I love to run and jump and give everyone kisses! As much as I love to play, sometimes I can’t because I have to go to work.

In March, I became certified to be a therapy dog. I had to prove that I could sit, stay, come, be around medical equipment and not get too distracted. I am one hardworking doggie! Right now I have two jobs! I work at St. Vincent hospital. I get to visit elderly people and make them happy! I also work at the Beech Grove library in the summer reading program. During the week, kids get the opportunity to read me stories. And scratch my belly! It’s really not a tough job, but someone has to do it!

My Mommy and Daddy have tried to make this experience as positive as possible! I’ve even become a really positive role model for the kids that read to me! They understand that even though I only have 3 legs, that I still have so much going for me! My Mom is looking into some other great places for me to earn my keep. Well, that’s all for now, hopefully I’ll see you guys around town soon!

Hi Butch – I fell in love with you immediately.
You are definitely a brave dog and doing good things with your life. Your mom and Dad are so fortunate to have you and share you with so many people. Keep up the good work and I sure hope one of these days I can be the person who is rubbing your tummy, playing with you, and my reward will be lots of kisses. You are a great Boston Terrier – I know. Love, Bonnie
