Meet Alvin!!

Hello Everyone!!
My name is Alvin!!


I’m still a baby, just 2 months old!
I’m an English Mastiff puppy and as you can see in my pictures I’m super adorable. Right now I weigh about 25lbs but when I grow up, I can grow up to ten times that size!!!! Yes, you heard me correctly; male Mastiffs can weigh up to 250 lbs!!


My breed is of the kind you would call “ENORMOUS”!! Mastiffs have a massive head and we only come in a few distinct colors – apricot-fawn, silver-fawn, fawn, or dark fawn-brindle – always with black on the muzzle, ears, and nose and around the eyes. Girls can get all the way up to 200lbs and boys up to 250lbs!! But don’t let our size scare you, we are considered one of the gentlest breeds and therefore proudly carry the name of “The Gentle Giant”.


Okay, enough about the “technical stuff”. Let’s focus on me!! Last week I stayed at Good Dog Hotel & Spa for the very first time ever. My parents went out of town for a few days and they took me to this wonderful place. I spent most of my time in the arms of the employees. All the people LOVED me so much; they played with me, took pictures of me, and gave me treats, I HAD A BLAST!!


When I did have to stay in my hotel-suite, I was in there with my big sister Lucy. My sister is the pretty girl pictured below. She’s 9 ½ years old and has been coming to Good Dog Hotel & Spa for many years. She showed me the ropes of the hotel. I was very happy she was there to protect and comfort me from all these new events in my life.



I look forward to visiting Good Dog many more times in the future for vacations. I love it there and hope to see you guys soon!!!

My dogs love this place. They have been many times for both day care and overnight stays. The groomer also does a fantastic job of keeping my Sheltie looking very nice! I would recommend this place to anyone who needs someone to trust with their dog.
