The Mini-Me Blogs, Installment 2: Darci & Birdie



This is the second installment in our Mini-Me blog series. Meet Darci and Birdie … two unrelated dogs who are so similar in looks and personality that Darci could pass as a “mini-me” version of Birdie. We love these two girls to pieces, for so many reasons … read on to see why.

Physical Stats: Supersoft white coat with prominent black & brown freckles. Tinted flippy-floppy ears. Prettiest brown eyes you’ve ever seen atop a freckly-pointy snout.

20-ish pounds.
40-ish pounds.
6 months old.
About 2 years.
Makes fast friends in daycare by constantly moving, playing and ruff-housing.
Could be our U.N. Ambassador of daycare – she’s very peaceful, gentle and diplomatic.
An excited wiggle-worm who is an adventure to photograph, but she’s so cute that it’s worth it.
Perfect for pictures … Almost as easy to photograph as Tiki because she’ll do anything for a treat.
If she’s frustrated by something, she plops herself onto the floor in a fit of protest.
Doesn’t seem to get frustrated by much … We’re waiting for the day she protests something.
Why we love her: all of the above, plus she gives lots of kisses and is always a happy girl. Her tail never stops wagging!
Why we love her: all of the above, plus she’s never known an enemy. She gets along with every human and dog in our building.
