Meet Rebecca Carter
Hi! My Name is Rebecca Carter.I grew up in a VERY small town in Northwest Indiana. After college I moved to Indianapolis. As an only child with a sensitive, emotional nature… dogs always played a very important part in my life. I’ve been closer to more dogs through the years than I probably have been to most people! I worked for state government for about 34 years, and while working I earned a master’s degree. I took early retirement at age 55, and I’ve worked for Good Dog Hotel and Spa for just over 2 years. I hope to be here for the rest of my working days. During my lifetime, I’ve lived with 16 dogs- both purebreds and mutts. I currently live with Chloe (mutt), Kylah (Boxer), and Charlie (Lab Mix), who came into my life and heart as a “surrender” to Good Dog from a previous owner. I feel blessed to be able to work at a place I love and to care for and treat our clients’ dogs as if they were my own. Mordecai Siegal (born 1934) stated, “Acquiring a dog may be the only opportunity a human ever has to choose a relative.” How True!!!
