Hello, I go by the name of Lucas… not Luke. I’ve worked at this fine establishment for over 7 years now, since I was a mere 14 years old. I’ve always had at least 4-5 dogs in my household. My main hobby outside of work is running — you may recognize me from running on the Monon Trail. I’ve participated in several marathons and aspire to become a professional marathon runner! Overall, I’ve been known as a peacemaker who takes great strides to live life to the fullest. |

Hello, my name is Brittany! I recently moved to Indianapolis from a small town by the name of Wabash. I am currently a student at Herron School of Art and Design, were I’m studying painting as my major. I’m the proud mom of a sweet pug named Bigsby and his new little sister Babette. You may see from time to time in daycare. I’ve always had a strong love for my four-legged friends and I’m extremely thankful to have found a job that allows me to spend each day with happy wagging tails! |

Hi, I’m Jenny Smith, and I just celebrated 5 years of working at Good Dog! I moved to Indy from Marion about 7 years ago. It wasn’t until I moved here that I knew dog hotels existed. My parents brought our two boxers to Good Dog for training, and I knew it was the place for me! Getting to be with these dogs everyday and seeing them grow from puppies has been such a privilege. Working here also brought me to my dog, Pixie, who came in as a stray. I’ve made great friends, human and canine, and hope to be here for a long time to come! |

David St. Pierre graduated from Broadripple High School and the Herron Art Institute (in fact, some of his art work has been on display at Good Dog in the past). A retired mortician, he has always had a love for dogs. After frequenting our facility, he got to know one of our managers and found the job he always wanted — providing our hotel guests with their 1-on-1 time! He comes to work everyday, rain or shine, 7 days a week, to make sure the dogs get lots of love, toys, treats, and music. Making dogs feel comfortable, loved, and safe is his natural gift! |

Hi! My Name is Rebecca Carter. I grew up in a small town in Northwest Indiana and moved to Indy after college. As an only child with a sensitive nature, dogs always played an important part in my life. I’ve been closer to more dogs than I probably have been to most people! I worked for the state of Indiana 34 years, earning a master’s degree along the way. I took early retirement at age 55 and have worked for Good Dog ever since! >>Read More |

Hi, I’m India and I’m originally from Indianapolis. I have worked at Good Dog for around 3 years now. I have taken a few breaks to travel and explore the world. I mostly spend my time in Daycare and love playing with all the dogs. I would have to say my favorite thing about Good Dog is our family atmosphere and everyone’s love for the dogs! When I’m not at work I love to go on adventures and explore the woods! |

Hi! My Name is Chad! I have been working at Good Dog for over two years and I love it! I work with a pack of 50 Dogs and it is very gratifying to see their personalities blossom. Every day is different from the last. When I’m not at work I take my two dogs, Domino and Merlin, biking or on long walks. They also love to go camping with me. Most of the staff have dogs, and they all get along as a small family. I feel very fortunate to have so much love and support! |

Hi! My name is Mandy, and I’ve loved animals since I was a toddler…one of my very first words was “dog!” I’m the proud mom of a rescued Wheaten (Bella), cockapoo (Watson), and a crazy, cross-eyed angel that I adopted through Good Dog’s rescue (Reagan). My hubby and friends suggested I work at Good Dog while going back to school, and it’s the best thing that has ever happened to me!! Nothing makes me happier than spending time with dogs! |

Hi! My name is Nick Zachidny. I’m one of the newest members of Good Dog Hotel & Spa and I love it here! I work in Hotel and Daycare and the best part is; I get to bring my dog to work! My dog’s name is Diego and he’s a “fluffy Pit-mix”. I think he’s mixed with either Chow or Golden Retriever. Either way, he’s very sweet! I grew up in Indianapolis and graduated from the Hope Academy in 2009. Dogs have always been a big part of my life and this job is just perfect for me! |

I joined Good Dog in February 2011 doing deep cleaning in our hotel, but I recently started working in daycare and love it!! My favorite thing is playing fetch with the big dogs — I love watching them have a great time! I’m originally from Cloves, New Mexico. Hi my name is Kathleen Schonsheck! I am originally from Kokomo and came to work for Good Dog early February of 2012. At home I have a side business in photography and love hanging out with my family, friends, and my two dogs who are both Corgi mixes named Wash and Chewy. My husband and I rescued both our dogs and I would have to say my favorite breed of dog is any American mutt or a shelter dog! The best part about working here at Good Dog is being in daycare with all the dogs big and small, and getting to know every dogs personality. |

Hi I’m Chrissy. I’ve always loved animals and one day hope to be a vet. I thought working with dogs would be a great way to get experience, but I never imagined I would love Good Dog so much! If I’m having a bad day, there is always an excited dog to see me and give me a big hug. I don’t have any dogs of my own, but I’m currently looking for a rescue. I’m the proud mom of 2-year-old Liam, who is my pride and joy and my best friend! |

I absolutely love to play with our daycare pups, as well as give lots of attention to our hotel guests. I have two dogs at home: A very little and cute rat terrier named Princess, and a big and beautiful Great Dane named Leo. In my free time, I love to hang out with my pups, my cat Hopscotch, and spend time outdoors. |
